Infosys Technologies has announced its fourth quarter and FY07 results. The company reported net profit of Rs 1,144 crore (Rs 11.44 billion) in the fourth quarter versus Rs 983 crore (Rs 9.83 billion) in the previous year, a growth of 16.38%.The net profit included Rs 124 crore of reversal of tax provision.Its revenues increased by 3.2% to Rs 3,772 crore (Rs 37.72 billion) from Rs 3,655 crore (Rs 36.55 billion), QoQ.Its Q4 OPM stood at 31.73% versus 32.72% QoQ.
For FY07, Infosys' net profit jumped 56.87% to Rs 3,856 crore (Rs 38.56 billion) from Rs 2,458 crore (Rs 24.58 billion). The CNBC-TV18 estimated net profit at Rs 3751.08 crore (Rs 37.51 billion).The revenues were up 45.91% to Rs 13,893 crore (Rs 138.93 billion) from Rs 9,521 crore (Rs 95.21 billion). The CNBC-TV18 estimated at Rs 14,009.71 crore (Rs 140.09 billion).
It has declared final dividend of Rs 6.5 per share. The company has added 34 new clients in Q4 compared to 43 new clients in Q3 and 5992 employees versus 3282 employees in Q4.Other income increased to Rs 119 crore (Rs 1.19 billion) in the fourth quarter as against third quarter other income of Rs 59 crore (Rs 590 million). The company increased offshore salaries by 12-15%.
