Simplex Infrastructures has recorded a 94% increase in net profit for the first quarter ended June 30, 2008 at Rs 38.3 crore compared to Rs 19.7 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal. Turnover increased to Rs 1,017 crore (Rs 594 crore).

Hindustan Construction Company bags order worth 312 crores (Approx)
HHindustan Construction Company Ltd has got letter from Mumbai Central for execution of Civil works of providing & laying 3000 mm. Internal diameter M.S. above ground water main including cement mortar lining from inside and allied works on Section II from Jamboli to Chinchavali, Mumbai.The contract is worth Rs 311.96 Crore.
